The Cowboy Channel broadcasts the 123rd Cheyenne Frontier Days live from Cheyenne, Wyoming, from July 19-29. With the inaugural year of broadcast from The Cowboy Channel, this year marks a big moment for the event’s history.
“This year is our first year broadcasting Cheyenne Frontier Days in 20 years, and really it’s the first time Cheyenne Frontier Days has ever been broadcasted in its entirety on national television,” Cowboy Channel CEO Raquel Gottsch said. “We’re honored that we could become partners with them.”
Every performance is broadcasted live in front of a studio audience from The Cowboy Channel studio in Fort Worth, Texas, with Justin McKee and Joe Beaver and special guests like Pam Minick, Tuff Hedeman, Luke Branquinho, Larry Mahan and more. The Cowboy Channel will continue to bring all the action from the Daddy of Em All throughout the rest of the semifinals and on Finals Sunday, so fans won’t miss a thing.
“You can expect to feel like you’re here,” Gottsch said. “We are covering everything that’s going on in the arena in live time, so hopefully those that can’t make it out this year really can feel like they are.”
This live broadcast comes on the cusp of more rodeo action being televised on The Cowboy Channel with events like Rodeo New York at Madison Square Gardens on Father’s Day weekend 2020. For more information, visit www.thecowboychannel.com.
