The action kicked off in Barn 3, where 15-year-old Waves, who is by Special Leader and out of the Easy Jet mare Surf Jet, sold for $33,000—the most of any horse that passed through the sale. The total topped the amount brought by the highest selling Dash Ta Fame, 4-year-old Dashforawish, by $6,000, and beat the top Frenchmans Guy, 3-year-old French Lady Love, by $8,000.

Snyder, Colo., teenager Hayden Segelke and HPQ Smokin Rascal won the Formula 707 Futurity Championship Round title with a run of 15.388 seconds, topping reserve champs Mark Bugni and BB French Moon Bug by just one thousandth of a second. Cody Bauserman and Passem Jet won the Futurity Consolation Round title with a run of 15.706 seconds.

After three 900-run days, both long go rounds in the BBR Finals Open came to a close. Ashley Nelson and JL Dash Ta Heaven won the 1st Go, which took place in the Coliseum arena, with a run of 15.231 seconds, topping the 15.355 posted by reserve champions Cheryl Magoteaux and Bet This Is  A Shiner on Friday. Caitlin Benjamin and Shakemup Frenchgirl won the 2D championship, while the 3D title was split between Paige Rodriguez and Barred Secret and Lyndsey Phillips and Champ. Angela Hazlett and A Stylish Effort earned the 4D championship, and Docs Tardy Peppy carried Tresa Lackey to the 5D win.

Over in Barn 6, the home of the 2nd Go, Kelsey Deal and Dialaroosterforcash’s record-setting time of 15.056 held strong through the final 450 runners to bring them the 1D championship in Go #2, while Go 1 winners Nelson and JL Dash Ta Heaven took the reserve 1D win. Becky Canaday rode Dashing Chester to the 2D title, Cheryl Wallace guided Light On Money to the 3D win, and Carol Waters piloted Eye Say Grace to the 4D championship. Dyana Jantzen and Luigis Jet won the 5D title.
