February 23, 2018, Fort Worth, Texas, Cowtown Coliseum — Craig Brooks says Grandiose Guy, who’s by BHR Frenchies Socks and out of For The Fame, takes a little encouraging to make his best runs. On Friday, the duo showed their grit in Fort Worth. Brooks and the 5-year-old stallion, owned by Crystal Shumate, were the first of 10 to run down the alley of Cowtown Coliseum and the result was a flawless run of 13.790 seconds, moving them into second place overall.

Kylie Weast and Hell On The Red  also gave the crowd an applause-worthy performance when they turned in a 13.860 for second in the round and third place overall. The fastest 10 overall times from the three semifinals performances February 22–24 will advance to RFD-TV’s The American Rodeo at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday, February 25 at 2 p.m.
