Longtime Pendleton Round-Up competitor Cheyenne Allan finally comes up with the big win on the Green Mile.

Columbia River Circuit cowgirl Cheyenne Allan is no stranger to the expansive turf of the Pendleton Round-Up. The Mabton, Washington, barrel racer has been competing here for years and finally came up with the big win in 2018 aboard her home-raised and -trained 13-year-old mare RCA Mollys Honor (In Honor Of Leo x Molly Biankus x Kiddin N Streakin).
“She did outstanding for me this weekend. She’s really on fire,” Allan said. “I’m very thankful, and I praise God that we’re able to accomplish our goals this year.
Allan and “Molly” clocked a 28.62 in the final go-round to seal up a winning two-run aggregate of 57.38, thanks to a fast 28.76 in the third performance September 14 to place second on the first go-round.
Kacey Gartner and Rebel Look (JD Look x Jo Jos Dasher x Twaynas Dash), who led the first round most of the week after topping slack, posted the fastest time of the entire rodeo, a 28.47, to win the final go-round and finish reserve in the aggregate with a 57.40.
Round-one winner Jolene Douglas Hoburg stayed ultra consistent with a near identical run to her first-round effort. She finished third overall in the aggregate after a final-round time of 28.76. Hoburg posted a 28.73 September 14 to win a tough first round.
