Gabby Gunter of Sulphur, Louisiana, started off the first performance of the second round on top in the pole bending with an ultra fast 19.459 and has held onto her lead through the third performance. Gunter also topped the first round of the pole bending, which puts her in the No. 1 position in the aggregate going into the last day of competition on Friday.
The second round will continue on Friday with the last performance of the long round in the morning, followed by the short-round Friday evening where champions will be crowned.
