December 8, 2017 — Las Vegas, Nevada — Moore rode CP Dark Moon to victory in the second round of Wrangler National Finals Rodeo with a 13.54. “Paige” led Moore to the WNFR reserve world championship last year. and is an 8-year-old mare by Darkelly and out of SRQH New Highs. With the round win, Moore moved from 14th in the aggregate to 11th and from sixth in the world standings to fourth.
Hailey Kinsel moved to the No. 1 position in the aggregate race with a time of 27.34 on two runs. Kinsel rode DM Sissy Hayday, a 6-year-old mare by PC Frenchmans Hayday and out of Royal Sissy Irish by Royal Shake Em. Tiany Schuster holds on to her lead in the world standings with $260,378 in total earnings.
