The Youree family was presented with the WPRA’s 2011 Lifetime Family Heritage in Rodeo Award. Kenneth Springer caught up with the Youree’s in Oklahoma City, Okla., during the BFA World Championships, where they were gathered to compete and support one another.

The Horse with the Most Heart Award went to Lisa Lockhart’s phenomenal gelding, An Oakie With Cash, as well as Kelly Kaminski’s late, great superhorse, Rockem Sockem Go (“Rocky”).

Lisa Lockhart and An Oakie With Cash topped round two en route to earning $79,038 in NFR cash.

Brittany Pozzi finished the 2011 season as reserve world champions with $192,725 in season earnings.

Sherry Cervi banked $93,317 in NFR earnings to finish third in the world.

Christina Richman and Xtrared finished second in the average behind Sears.

Jody Sheffield made her NFR debut worthwhile, earning $49,905 in Las Vegas aboard Skip The Finances.

Jeanne Anderson and Flaming Fire Bug made their second NFR appearance.
