Brittany Pozzi and French Covergirl (“Cosmo”) won the Champion of Champions Slot Race with a run of 14.096 seconds. The duo outran their nearest competition by nearly a full tenth of a second to claim the win. Their time rolled over into the second round of the Run for the Bucks Open, and with only a handful of teams left to run in the last two drags, their victory seemed all but assured.
But Brian Wheeler and SX Dr Peacharita (“Peach”) had yet to run.
Wheeler and Peach decimated the field with a run of 13.816 seconds—the fastest time of the event by more than two tenths of a second—to claim the 1D win and reset the standings with just six riders remaining.
