A favorite among regional young riders, each Sherry Cervi Youth Championship event brings youth barrel racers together in a positive environment of competition, camaraderie and sportsmanship, hosted by four-time Women’s Professional Rodeo Association World Champion Sherry Cervi. Held annually in Arizona, Minnesota and Ohio, the Buckeye, Arizona, race marked the first SC Youth Championship of 2025.
Senior 1D average champion Jocelyn Fiske and 2015 mare SR J Lo Rocks (Firewaterontherocks x Insane For Fame x Dash Ta Fame) posted a 32.701. The pair also won the first go of the Senior with a 16.377, worth $752.

Rylee Mather and 2019 mare Dandys Dashin Dynamo (Dashin Dynamo x UX Watch Me Dandy x Poo Dandy) clocked a 33.710 to win the Senior 2D average.

In the Senior 5D, Alia Wood came out on top of the average with a 36.754 on 2001 gelding FLS Cowboy Boogie (Colonel Sugarnic x Another Calyx Girl x Calyx).
Presley McGrath won the Junior 1D average with a 33.323 on AK Little Shot of Whiskey.
Crosslyn Vest rode 2017 gelding Tis French Wonder (Flit Wonder x Frenchmans Jamie x Frenchmans Guy) to a 16.743 to win the first go of the Junior for $496.
Alivia Ray won the second go of the Junior for $496 with a 16.465 on 2015 gelding Jrfrenchnshameless (First Down French x Mollys Peppy Barmaid x Gin And Peppy).
Junior 2D average champion Raeley Bays rode 2007 gelding Tuff Dealin (DBL Deln Aristocrat x HHHH Tuff Poco Lynx x Tuff Hancock) to a 34.466.
Sagelie Walchli and 2016 stallion Goodbye Shu Fly (The Goodbye Lane x SC Jessica x Fly Jess Fly) clocked a 35.331 to win the Junior 3D average.
Payslie Luster rode 2009 gelding Leo Zan Jack (RC Zans Jack x Leos Classy Doc x Docs Lad Leo) to a 36.415 to win the Junior 4D average.
Noelia Velazquez and Cherry On Cat posted a 37.538 for the Junior 5D average title.
Harper Rose Smith’s Blaze earned the Junior division Horse With The Most Heart award.
Hughbethrilled, or “Chester,” won the Senior division Horse With The Most Heart award for Reneah Cortez-Walker.
