Senior World Championship Barrel Race

Lanita Peirce and Famous Wahini earn Senior World Championship title at the 10th annual event.

The Senior World Championship Barrel Race celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2025. An annual favorite for seasoned riders, the Texarkana, Arkansas, race provides camaraderie and competition for anyone age 50 and over, with different age-bracket incentives and an exciting short-go qualifying format. The event also added a special sponsored 6- and 7D race for the 10th anniversary, designed with all riders in mind to provide another opportunity to compete and win money and prizes outside of qualifying for the short go.
