2026 Rodeo Houston Barrel Racing Updates

Rodeo Houston, held March 2-21 inside NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas, is set to pay out more than $2 million. The tournament-style format will showcase the best barrel racing action from the cowgirls of the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association through five brackets of three rounds each. The top four competitors in each Super Series will advance to one of two Semifinals rounds. The top four from each Semifinals advance to the finals round and the remaining six advance to one of two Wildcard rounds. From there, the top four from each Semifinals and the top one athlete from each Wildcard meet in the clean-slate Championship Shootout to determine who will take home the coveted title and $65,000.
