Jacob rode her standout buckskin gelding, Honor Thy Frenchman aka “Bo” to the round win with a 13.77, worth $26,231. The Crumrine, Texas cowgirl came into the Wrangler NFR ranked No. 9 in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association world standings. In the first two rounds of the Wrangler NFR Jacob struggled a bit getting around the barrels, however after a little slow work prior to the third round performance Jacob and Bo are running strong again and she hopes to capitalize on the win.

By Kailey Sullins Photos by Kenneth Springer December 4, 2015 (Las Vegas, Nevada) — Round No. 2 of the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo kicked off tonight, Dec. 4, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and taking home the $26,231 first place paycheck was Michele McLeod. The Whitesboro, Texas cowgirl came into the Wrangler NFR ranked No. 11 in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association world standings. Tonight aboard the great stallion, Slick By Design (“Slick”) owned by Highpoint Performance Horses, she crossed the timer’s line in 13.89 seconds to move her up in the world standings to No. 6.

Round No. 1 of the Wrangler National Finals kicked off tonight, Dec. 3, 2015, in Las Vegas, Nevada, and dominating round one was NFR first timer Cassidy Kruse. Kruse came into the Finals ranked No. 8 in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association pro rodeo world standings. The duo from Gillette, Wyoming, surfaced as the opening round winners when they crossed the iconic Thomas and Mack timer’s line in 13.84 seconds, which was worth a rich $26,231.
