Emily Beisel and Teasin Dat Guy earn their first Reno Rodeo Championship after two consecutive years as the reserve champion, earning a total of $18,843.
The Reno Rodeo in Reno, Nevada kicked off June 19 and featured two rounds where the top 12 advanced to the finals. The aggregate leader after three runs claims the barrel racing title on June 27. One of the most lucrative summer rodeos, Reno Rodeo payed out nearly $800,000.
Emily Beisel and Teasin Dat Guy (Frenchmans Guy x Teasing Jetolena x Blazin Jetolena) claimed the reserve barrel racing championship in 2025 and 2024. In 2026, they were determined to get the win. Their 16.97 won the first round, barely edging out Jodee Miller Pedone and M R Im On Fire Guys time of 16.98.
In the second round, Beisel and “Chewy” stopped the clock with a 16.94, splitting fourth place with Carlee Otero and Blingolena, each earning $2,864. In the finals, the duo continued to get faster, running a 16.83 good enough for second place behind Otero and “Sly’s” 16.81, earning Beisel another check for $2,905. Beisel and Chewy topped the three run aggregate to win the barrel racing title with a 50.74, adding $7,844 to their Reno earnings. Beisel claimed a total of $18,843.
Sydney Graham and Dupont First ran the fastest time of the rodeo, a 16.71 worth $5,230, to win the second round. Graham and “Trump” were third in the aggregate, earning a total of $12,852 in Reno.
Carlee Otero stayed consistent, splitting fourth place in both round one and two. She topped the finals with a 16.81 and was second in the aggregate, earning $12,452.
