The CINCH World Championship Junior Rodeo took place at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Oklahoma, July 8-11. Kaden Burger and Halle Mowery were consistent all week to claim their respective age division championships.
Burger rode 2017 palomino mare Kellie Sun (Promise Of The Sun x Kelli Rae x Ivory James) to the WCJR Junior average championship after winning the Semifinals with a 14.664 and second in the Championship round with a 14.681 to bring her aggregate to 29.345. All totaled Burger earned $6,857.
Mowery and 2015 brown mare Dash Ta Da Mine (Ninety Nine Goldmine x Dash Perfect x Dash Ta Fame) finished second in the Youth Semifinals Round and second in the Youth Championship Round with times of 15.151 and 14.931, respectively. Mowery claimed the Youth WCJR Championship with an average time of 30.082 for $,705. All totaled Mowery earned $5,187.
