As the 2023 professional rodeo season came to a close September 30, the top 15 in the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association were named, but it also meant the completion of the WPRA Circuit system was right around the corner. Over the course of the next several months, the ladies of the WPRA will be campaigning for circuit titles in the 13 pro rodeo circuits.

Texas Circuit Finals Champion: Ashley Castleberry
Ashley Castleberry and Skyy Blue took home the Texas Circuit Finals championship after winning two rounds, placing in two rounds and winning the aggregate for a total of $10,231.
Skyy Blue has earned $58,449.76 in EquiStat reported lifetime earnings. Castleberry finished the 2023 pro rodeo season in the No. 17 position with $87,814.77 from 97 rodeos. “Skyy” played a big role in Castleberry’s late-season push for an attempted National Finals Rodeo qualification, helping her at the CINCH Playoffs Governor’s Cup on the last weekend of the season.
Skyy is a 2013 gray gelding by Stoli and out of the Runaway Rebel mare Sweeten My Dreams.
