Lockhart and her buckskin rockstar An Oakie With Cash aka “Louie” (Biebers Oakie X Lady Kaweah Cash) captured the roar of the crowd on Stampede Sunday, when the pair crossed the line with the fastest time of the Final Four $100,000 heat in 17.9 seconds.

Lockhart said this win felt incredible.
“It feels good,” smiled Lockhart, after she walked off the grand stage in front of thousands of cheering fans.
The four-time Canadian Champion says, winning the Calgary title has always been a dream for her, but has still taken her by surprise.
“It hit when I was walking up onto the stage… it just feels amazing.”
At the 103rd edition of the Stampede, Lockhart was on fire throughout all four performances in Pool B. The barrel racing superstar and her legendary gelding, won three of the four go-rounds in her Pool and captured the Average with $16,500 in earnings.
After competing in the Calgary arena for close to two-decades, Lockhart qualifies as a veteran in Cowtown. Despite some slick ground conditions throughout the entire rodeo, the star said she never doubted Louie’s ability to get around the barrels safely.
Lockhart’s 2015 season, certainly got a kick North of the 49th. The $100,000 check won on Showdown Sunday does not go towards the WPRA standings, but the money she earned during the week will keep her rolling towards the WNFR in December.
