February 22, 2018, Fort Worth, Texas, Cowtown Coliseum — The small town of Cotulla, Texas, was heard booming over the loudspeakers once again at RFD-TV’s The American Semifinals. The hometown of 2017 American Rodeo champion Hailey Kinsel can also add the winner of the first semifinals performance of 2018 to its resume, as 10-year-old Cotulla native London Gorham and her 2009 gelding Frenchmans Assassin (Frenchmans Guy x Huggys Spitfire x With Great Ease) posted a 13.740 to win in Cowtown Coliseum. The young barrel racer secured her first trip to AT&T Stadium with the victory. The top 10 fastest overall from the three semifinals performances February 22-24 will advance to RFD-TV’s The American Rodeo presented by Dish at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, on Sunday, February 25 at 2 p.m.
