December 15, 2017 — Las Vegas, Nevada — Kinsel rode the 6-year-old phenom by PC Frenchmans Hayday and out of Royal Sissy Irish by Royal Shake Em to the go-round win. With tonight’s win, the duo sits sixth in the aggregate, second in the world standings and $26,231 richer in the Ram Top Gun race behind saddle bronc rider Ryder Wright, who has $174,154 in WNFR earnings to Kinsel’s $146,654 in NFR earnings.
Nellie Miller and Rafter W Minnie Reba took home second with a 13.52, earning $20,731 and putting Miller in the lead for the aggregate and bumping her into the No. 3 position in the world standings.

December 16 will conclude the 2017 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo, with round No. 10 determining world champions. Along with go-round money, aggregate champions will be crowned. That money is tabulated into the world standings to determine who walks away from Las Vegas as the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association World Champion Barrel Racer. All totaled, the WNFR will pay out $10 million shared between seven events.
