Reagon Walker, son of World Champion Byron Walker, Dies

Reagon Walker, 21, of College Station, Texas, was killed from injuries sustained during a traffic accident on April 22 near Jacksboro, Texas.

Walker, the son of 1981 PRCA World Champion Steer Wrestler Bryon Walker, and his girlfriend were on their way to a cutting event when the accident occurred.

While attending high school in Ennis, Texas, Walker won two Texas State All-Around Cowboy titles, two Steer Wrestling championships and a reserve championship in cutting. He became a member of the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association in 2008, twice qualifying for the All-American ProRodeo Series finals. He earned his first Texas Circuit Finals qualification in 2010, where he finished in a tie for second place.
