Wendy Halweg and her horse, Dually, were rodeoing this 4th of July in Fort Pierre, South Dakota. After Saturday night's performance, she and Dually were in third place in the barrels. Dually was in the arena after the fireworks had gone off, and Wendy was just yards away in teh horse trailer. When she awoke Sunday morning at 6 a.m., Dually was gone.
Dually was found after someone reported a horse near a home in Fort Pierre. He was badly injured.
