What is PWR ranking system?
The barrel racing, breakaway roping and team roping competitions are classified into three divisions: Pro, Challenger, and Limited.
The Limited will include breakaway roping and barrel racing (no team roping). An athlete competing in the Limited hasn’t held a Pro card in over five years, hasn’t competed in any regional association finals event in the past five years and has $75,000 or less in EquiStat reported lifetime earnings. They cannot compete on the Pro or Challenger leaderboards in barrel racing or breakaway roping.
The Challenger includes athletes with $100,000 or less in EquiStat reported lifetime earnings, with no more than $20,000 won annually.
The Pro includes professional athletes with more than $100,000 in Equistat reported lifetime earnings and more than $20,000 won annually.
