The 10-day show November 2–13 at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas, is followed by two partner events open to all breeds: the United States Team Roping Championship Cowtown ShootOut and the American Cutting Horse Assocation/APHA Cowtown Cutting.APHAwebPhoto courtesy APHA and the Paint Horse Journal

Paint barrel racers have the option to compete in 14 different classes, and Paint Barrel Racing Incentive Program-enrolled horses will vie for $10,500 in added money in select events. Beyond the World Show, PBRIP creates big added-money opportunities at barrel racing events around the country. Barrel racers running enrolled Paint Horses are eligible for PBRIP sidepots at approved barrel races, in addition to year-end prizes awarded on a point system.

With almost $200,000 alone in added money earmarked for select events at the World Show, in addition to world championship classes, Breeders’ Futurity and more, Paint exhibitors of all disciplines have plenty of reason to load up for Fort Worth every year.

It’s not too late to enter—entry forms are available online, and entries are accepted until 5 p.m. the day before the class. Check out the full schedule at apha.com/oawcs. For information on how to enroll your Paint in PBRIP, visit apha.com/pbrip.
