The event will include an Open race each day with $1,000 added Friday, S2,000 Saturday and $2,000 on Sunday. In addition, there will be a youth race on Saturday morning and a futurity, derby and senior sidepot added to the open race on Saturday.

Contestants running Saturday will also have a chance to win FREE JEANS and FREE SHIRTS from Cowgirl Tuff during the “Cowgirl Tuff Lucky Drags.” Those running in the “lucky drag” who are wearing Cowgirl Tuff Co. jeans will receive FREE JEANS, and those wearing Cowgirl Tuff Co. shirts will receive FREE SHIRTS. If they’re wearing both, they’ll find themselves in a brand new outfit by Cowgirl Tuff Co.

Double C Saddlery will also award a TARGET TIME saddle to the person running closest to their own time, thus rewarding the most consistent rider. Riders choose which two runs they would like to pick for their target time entry when checking in.

Contestants can find pre-entry forms at barrelbash.com. The event is co-approved with the WPRA and the BBR. Membership is not required to compete at this event, and there will be no extra fees for non members. Those holding BBR memberships can obtain six world show qualifiers for the 2012 BBR World Finals in Oklahoma City, Okla., by running all three days of the event.
