Barrel Horse News, the leading barrel racing publication in the world, will recognize those who have made a positive contribution to the barrel racing industry by presenting the 1st Annual Barrel Horse News IMPACT Awards this December.
The 2010 BHN IMPACT Awards will honor the people, organizations, businesses and horses who have had the strongest positive effects on the barrel racing industry this year and who have stood out from their peers through their dedication, performances and commitment to excellence.
However, Barrel Horse News is asking for help from its readers and fans to find the winner of the IMPACT Award’s most prestigious honor, the ULTIMATE IMPACT Award. The ULTIMATE IMPACT Award will go to a person or horse who is an “unsung hero,” an individual who has positively affected their barrel racing community through their actions and attitude. This individual doesn’t have to have ever made front page, or even second page news, but they must make the world a little brighter just by being in it.
Nominations for BHN’s ULTIMATE IMPACT Award should be submitted to [email protected] no later than October 1. Barrel Horse News will then process the nominations and recognize the winner of the 2010 ULTIMATE IMPACT Award, and winners in 10 additional categories, in its December 2010 issue.
