Five members of the family, two horses and a dog were traveling together to a horse show when a left front truck tire blew and sending the truck and trailer into the highway median. Cindy Schwab and 14-year-old son, Trey Schwab, were airlifted to hospitals and remain hospitalized at the time of this letter. Paul Schwab II, Tena Collier and her 4-year-old son, Trevor, were also injured. Family horses, Bar Dee Boy (“Scooby”) and MF Poco Red Wrangler (“Popeye”) were also injured in the accident. Scooby remains hospitalized and is expected to recover, but Popeye did not survive through surgery. The truck and trailer are a total loss.
Financial support can be given by donating money, goods or service vouchers to assist in paying the family’s medical and veterinary bills. All goods or service vouchers will be auctioned online and turned into financial support. A bank account has been established to hold the funds for the family.
