The American Cancer Society estimates that nearly 1.5 million people will be diagnosed with cancer this year. It will cost more than $228.1 billion to treat these cancers. Sadly, lack of insurance and poor finances play all too big a role in a cancer victim’s access to treatment and the chances of a favorable prognosis.
The CCCCF will provide support for all types of cancer that affect both men and women as well as provide monetary donations to various cancer charities, such as the Susan G. Komen For The Cure Foundation.
Breast cancer is particularly pervasive in the largely female populated sport of barrel racing. Knowing that a large portion of the fund will eventually go toward the breast cancer battle, JB Quarter Horses will offer a pink ribbon sale’s horse—Hip No. 1 Miss JB 0830—and several adorable t-shirts that will fund the creation of the CCCCF at the JB Quarter Horses Creating Legends Sale and VIP Party on Nov. 20-21 in conjunction with World Barrel Racing Production’s Barrelnanza at the Heart O Texas Complex in Waco, Texas.
JB Quarter Horses hopes that you will lend your support and help them help fellow barrel racers in the brave battles against this deadly foe.
