VonAhn, originally from Iowa, made the switch from Cinch to a Midwestern company that knows all too well where his roots come from. Raising, riding and breaking horses were second nature to VonAhn’s family growing up. He had the passion as a youngster and has grown up to be one of the best heelers in the industry people look up to. “VonAhn was a natural fit for B. Tuff Jeans” commented Lisa Bollin owner and CEO of B. Tuff Jeans. “When Kollin decided to make the move, we knew that his tough and competitive edge with a positive outlook on life was perfect,” stated Bollin.
VonAhn is sitting 7th in the standings at $53,586; ready to take another ride to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas again this year! VonAhn won the world in 2009 with partner Nick Sartain and it appears with the way 2013 is sitting, he is going to make another run at it this year! “I am excited for the finals and couldn’t be more happy to be part of the Tuff Team,” stated VonAhn.
B. Tuff Jean’s Tuff Team currently consists of Bareback Rider and Model, Casey Colletti; Bull Rider, Seth Glause; Barrel Horse Trainer, Lance Graves; Rodeo Announcer, Matt Palmer, and many others. VonAhn helps bring the team together by adding a Team Roper to the mix.
While VonAhn’s main role on the team is doing what he does best as a heeler, don’t be surprised to see him pop up in some advertising soon. B. Tuff Jeans just finished up a photo shoot with VonAhn and on his side was fiancé Angie Meadors who also represents the women’s line, Cowgirl Tuff Company. So watch out, you may see some edgy true romance in the advertising world around the corner from Cowgirl Tuff Company and B. Tuff jeans.
