The Equine Affaire program will include more than 230 different clinics, seminars and demonstrations on a broad range of equine disciplines and horse-related topics conducted by many of the nation’s foremost coaches, competitors, horse trainers and horse management experts. While training clinics presented at Equine Affaire will be conducted to educate horse enthusiasts who will be watching from outside of the arena, these clinics also offer rare opportunities for selected riders to bring their horses to the event and receive individual instruction and training from many of the industry’s top professionals.

Among the presenters who will be participating in the Ride With The Best program are “general” horse and horsemanship trainers Craig Cameron, Stacy Westfall, Guy McLean, Mark Rashid and Jonathan Field. In addition to Combs’ barrel racing clinic, other clinics in the Western disciplines include Aaron Ralston (reining, trail, and ranch horse training), Stacy Westfall (reining), Drew Emnett (Western pleasure) and Jennifer Moshier (showmanship). Those conducting clinics in English disciplines will include Peter Leone (hunters and jumpers), Todd Flettrich and Jeremy Steinberg (dressage), Duane Esser (English pleasure), Jennifer Moshier (hunter under saddle) and Andy Marcoux (driving). Cathy Zahm will present sessions on the training of draft horses, Brenda Imus will offer clinics on easy gaited horses, and Hollie McNeil will teach horse and rider biomechanics.

Clinic fees for Equine Affaire’s “Ride With The Best” program range from $70 for a single clinic to $225 for a multi-part clinic and include clinic participation, event admission and stabling. Clinicians will select the participants for their sessions from written applications and videos submitted to Equine Affaire. All application materials must be submitted by Feb. 15.
