Reportedly, the accident happened during a practice flight for an area air show to be held this weekend.
Snow, the brother of Gainseville, Texas, reined cow horse trainer Ron Ralls, was a well-known and respected veterinarian who is recognized for pioneering shockwave therapy for horses. Snow worked out of Santa Lucia Farm in Santa Ynez.
A private burial service is planned for Saturday, April 17. On Sunday, April 18, beginning at 2 p.m., a barbecue and celebration of Snow’s life will take place at Santa Lucia Farm.
