How It Works:

The landmark, team-formatted rodeo featuring rock n’ roll icon Kid Rock LIVE in concert, will again launch the biggest weekend in Western sports, with the the 2025 PBR World Finals: Unleash The Beast – Championship taking over the home of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys on May 17-18, 2025.

“Last May we mashed up rodeo and rock and roll to celebrate cowboys and America in a party no one will ever forget,” Kid Rock said. “It’s time for year two, and we’ve got even bigger ideas to continue pushing rodeo into the entertainment mainstream. Nothing’s cooler than rodeo and rock-n-roll.”

Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo is a reimagined rodeo produced by PBR in partnership with Kid Rock. During the music-infused event, six teams, each led by a legendary rodeo head coach, compete head-to-head in bracket-style competition across barrel racing, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling and breakaway roping.

The all-star rodeo team competition and upbeat production is patterned after the successful formula PBR brought to bull riding through the Camping World Team Series launched in 2022.

Five of the six teams will feature one returning member per discipline from the 2024 Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo. The second open position in each discipline will be filled via a draft and qualifying events.

The drafted athletes include the most talented athletes to ever compete on dirt. Collectively they have earned 57 world championships in the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association, 41 aggregate wins and more than 470 qualifications to the National Finals Rodeo, while amassing more than $100 million in career earnings.

The sixth team will again be comprised of athletes who qualify through the World Champions Rodeo Alliance Major held in tandem with Rodeo Corpus Christi in May 2025.

At the first-ever Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo last May, the WCRA team rode lights out, winning three gold medals in Round One before cementing their title as champions by winning four of the disciplines in the championship round.

The Jokers Win Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo

At the second iteration of Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo,May 17 in Arlington, Texas, the Jokers rode in dominant form, winning four gold medals in Round One before cementing their title as champions by winning four of the disciplines in the Championship Round.

Under the leadership of world champions Sid Steiner and Joe Beaver, the Jokers won $500,000.

The Jokers dominated the initial bracket competition, winning four gold medals and taking an early lead by claiming the first two disciplines of the night.

In the bareback riding, Rocker Steiner dominated with a 90-point ride on Worth the Whiskey, while in the saddle bronc riding, Brody Cress propelled the Jokers to their second gold medal with an 86-point ride atop San Angelo Sam

The Jokers’ final two gold medals were earned in team roping by Jade Corkill and Colby Lovell, and in the steer wrestling by JD Struxness, who posted a lightning-fast 5.06-second time.

In the barrel racing competition, the Jokers won the first two rounds of their bracket. Round One was kicked off with Brittany Pozzi Tonozzi aboard Australian-bred Cashen In The Fame and going head-to-head with LaTricia Duke from team Misty Mountain Hop aboard DM High Roller. Tonozzi took the win and the Jokers advanced. Paige Jones riding Famous Hayday, stepped up in the next heat to compete against the Low Riders’ Carlee Otero, and again won that set for the Jokes to advance to compete against team Convoy. Tonozzi was back in the rotation running against Jordon Briggs of team Convoy. This time Tonozzi chose to get on Couldawoodashoulda. Briggs aboard Awesome Arlo landed in the top spot earning Convoy the discipline win for Round One. The Jokers finished Round One with the silver medal in the barrel racing.

Joining the Jokers in the championship round was the Convoy, who collected three gold medals across all disciplines.

As the championship round got underway, the Jokers jumped to an early lead when Paige Jones and Famous Hayday winning the barrel racing.

The Convoy, however, quickly tied the score in the team roping with a winning run from Dustin Egusquiza and Levi Lord. They then pulled to a 2-1 lead courtesy of a scorching run from Riley Webb in the tie-down roping.

But that discipline victory would be Convoy’s last.

Dakota Eldridge battled in the steer wrestling to capture the Jokers’ second discipline win in the championship round.

Cheyanne McCartney then delivered the Jokers’ go-ahead win in the breakaway roping before Cole Franks clinched the title of Kid Rock’s Rock N Rodeo Champions for the team by winning the bareback riding.

For their win, the Jokers earned $500,000, with each athlete and coach earning $27,778.

“I think what’s cool about this whole thing is, all of us except for the team ropers, our sports are so individual and it’s always about yourself and you never have this team concept,” Tonozzi said. “This has been so fun to cheer our teammates on and to be a part of this. For every event we were all back [behind the chutes and arena cheering] for every event in the finals. That’s something you can’t experience anywhere else.”
