Cornhusker Futurity and Derby
McCook, Nebraska
Jessica Leach and Aint An Angel (Aint Seen Nothin Yet x Rich Money x Buck That Money) won the Breeders and Open Futurity Average with a time of 30.770 on two runs for a $4,972 check. They were fourth in the first round with a 15.501 worth $894 and won the second round of both the Breeders and Open Futurity with a 15.269 worth $3,418.
Dusky Lynn Hall and Aint Seen Famous Yet (Aint Seen Nothin Yet x A Nasty Chick x Its Royal Time) won the Breeders Derby Average with a time of 30.147 on two runs, worth $1,507. They won the first round of the Derby and Open and the American Qualifier with a 15.139 for a $3,407 check and were second in round two in both the Derby and Open with a 15.008 for a $2,027 check. Hall won round two of the Derby and Open aboard Chasin A Win with a 14.927 for $2,568.
Carley Cervi rode Flit Six to the Warm Up race win with a 15.340 worth $924.



Fizz Bomb Classic
Gillette, Wyoming
Kathy Grimes and KG Just Money (PC Frenchmans Hayday x KG Justiceweexpected x Judge Cash) won the first round of the futurity with a 14.563, which also won the first round of the Open, worth $7,464. They won the second round with a 14.732 worth another $3,701. They also won the Open average, Rider/Owner, Blue Collar Breeders Futurity, and placed second in the Cowboy State Stallion Slot Race for more than $70,000 in total earnings.
Dusky Lynn Hall and Chasin A Win (Chasin Aces N Fame x The Lion Queen x Highly Visible) won the Derby average after placing second in the first round with a 14.902 and winning the second round with a 14.423, which also won the high stakes and second round of the Open, winning more than $12,000 together.
Hall won the first round of the Derby on JH Firewater Honor (Firewaterontherocks x Packin Honor Jet x Packin Sixes) with a 14.892 worth $2,161. She claimed first, second and third place in both rounds of the Derby and the top four spots in the Derby average aboard her string of geldings. In total, Hall left Gillette with more than $38,000.


Indiana Barrel Racing Futurity
Edinburgh, Indiana
Maci Mattingly and Bo Twisty Cash (Guys Keep Cash x TC Vanilla Twist x TC Classy Concho) claimed the 5 & Under Futurity and Barrel Futurities of America Futurity average championship after winning round one with a 15.176 worth $4,479 and placing fourth in round two with a 15.407 worth $675. Their time of 30.583 won the average titles, worth more than $8,000.
Marne Loosenort and SGL Rockette (The Goodbye Lane x Favorite Snowflake x Favorite Cartel) claimed the reserve 5 & Under Futurity and Barrel Futurities of America Futurity average championship with a time of 30.656 seconds on two runs. They also won the second round with a 15.058. In total the pair won more than $8,000.
Loosenort also won Saturday’s Open race, the Slot race and the Derby aboard Kingor (First Moonflash x Final Form x Rare Form) with a 14.800 worth $10,115.
Summer Muhlenkamp won Friday and Sunday’s Open race aboard TS French Traffic (First Down Frenchman x TS Frosted Reflector x PC Mr Sun Peppy) with a 14.856 and a 14.977 worth $2,255 total.
The Gold Standard
Stephenville, Texas
Molli Montgomery and Tres The Fire (Tres Seis x Firewater Fueled x Fire Water Flit) stayed consistent to win the Futurity average with a time of 34.415 after placing second in round one with a 17.229 and second in round two with a 17.186. Those times also took first and second in the High Stakes race, placed in both days of the Open and won the Open average and Adult side-pot for nearly $25,000.
Jimmie Smith and Roarrrin Ta Fame (Roarrr x HMB Soon Tobe Famous x Dash Ta Fame) won the Derby average and won round one of the Derby with a 16.911. They also placed second in Saturday’s Open race for a $7,600 check.
Steely Steiner and Get Tha Goody (The Goodbye Lane x Teena Turner x Blazin Jetolena) won the first round of the Futurity with a 16.895, the fastest time of the race. That time also won Saturday’s Open race, earning a total of $6,074.
