In The Big League: J&J Productions Slot Race

Dusky Lynn Hall and KD Baby Driver win big in Glen Rose, Texas at The Big League slot race from J&J Productions.

The Big League slot race held in Glen Rose, Texas on March 3 had 200 open slots and 40 youth slots with a total payout of $181,511. For the third year J&J Productions have offered this high paying weeknight race to the best of the best, often including NFR qualifiers and professional barrel racers as they spend the beginning of the year in Texas for the winter rodeos.

“It’s a really fun race to watch from the kids to the open riders,” Jodi of J&J Productions said. “We do a calcutta so the fans get involved too. It’s just an all around fun day. Super tough but fun to watch.”

Dusky Lynn Hall of Huntsville, Texas took both the youth and open wins aboard KD Baby Driver. Their 14.526 won nearly $20,000 in the open race, besting 2024 World Champion barrel racer Kassie Mowry and CP He Will Be Epic. Mowry and “Will” ran a 14.574 to be second and claim almost $15,000.

Hall and “Enzo” also won the youth race for $1,800. The pair has won nearly $169,000 together.
