Jordynn Knight Breaks the Arena Record at the Xtreme Million Nampa Race

Jordynn Knight left Nampa, Idaho $33,000 richer after setting a new arena record on Runnin Ron and earning five checks in the Mini Million 1D.

Roosevelt, Utah barrel racer Jordynn Knight left it all in the arena at the Xtreme Million Nampa race with her three horses. Runnin Ron led the field in record setting fashion with a 16.554 on the final day of competition to win Sunday’s Open race and the Mini Million for a total of $8,670.

The former arena record at the Ford Idaho Horse Park was a 16.686 ran by Bobbie Steed and Mighty Classy Bc at the 2025 Xtreme Million Nampa race.

She ran a 16.557 on Dashing French Belle on Sunday to place second in the Open and Mini Million for another $7,600. Knight and the mares 16.834 from Saturday placed second in the day’s Open for $1,729 and 10th in the Mini Million for another $1,044.

A 16.726 and 16.799 placed fifth and seventh in the Mini Million for Knight and Heza Swift Spyder, placing third on Sunday and second on Friday in the Open. They cashed in more than $6,000 together.

All in total, Knight won $33,830 in Nampa about her three horses to be the highest money earner of the event which had a total payout of $351,754.

Lily Wright and Fabulous Golden Honey won Friday’s Open with a 16.707 and Saturday’s Open with a 16.711. The duo placed fourth behind Knight’s mounts with a 16.775 on Sunday. Those times placed third, fourth and sixth in the Mini Million. Wright was the second highest money earner of the weekend with $28,604 in earnings.
