Too Fast To Lose: The Blitz

Taylor Hanson and Too Famous For You swept both rounds and the average of The Blitz Futurity.

The Blitz barrel race brought futurity action to Bowman, North Dakota, along with an Open race, Senior Slot Race, Derby sidepot, and the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association Badlands Circuit Divisional Finals.

In addition to great barrel racing action, the Blitz makes sure to be a family-friendly event. In addition to the annual spaghetti feed, this year’s event featured a stick horse race for the youth, with each participant receiving a free stick horse.

“At every big drag we had ‘Big Drags and Bigger Acknowledgements’ where contestants nominated their peers that have done acts of kindness throughout the weekend, and our sponsors Northern States Fishing Tools and Leanin’ Pole Arena gave out gorgeous awards to those people,” producer Lana Dacar shared. “The comradery and the environment is pretty neat. We packed the stands for the DC Finals, and it was loud in there.  It was pretty cool to see. Bowman is a tiny little town and we packed it full.”
