Margo Crowther Claims Win in Round Two of NBHA Open World Championships

(Thursday, November 3, 2022) — Margo Crowther and Shes Packin Fame showed up in style, winning Round Two of the NBHA Open World Championships with a fast 14.697, worth $3,072. Crowther, who took home the NBHA Open World Championship aboard “Sissy” in 2021, says she has her eye on claiming back-to-back NBHA World titles before the pair makes their debut at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo next month in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Crowther purchased Sissy from Craig Brooks early in her 3-year-old year before going on to amass nearly $100,000 in earnings during the mare’s futurity career. Now 7 years into their journey together, Crowther says she has always been able to count on Sissy to give it her all.

“Every thing Sissy does is 150%,” Crowther shared. “Even just loading in the trailer, she’s running to do it. If we’re trail riding, she has to be not just one but ten steps ahead. She can’t be behind. She’s all or nothing — she was just made tough.”
