Jennifer Neudorf and buckskin stallion PYC Fast Guy (Frenchs Hula Guy x Fiscal Fast x PYC Paint Your Wagon) claimed the barrel racing title at the Ponoka Stampede in Ponoka, Alberta by winning the showdown round with the fastest time of the rodeo, a 17.24 worth $7,500. In total, Neudorf earned just more than $19,000 in Ponoka.
The 7-year-old stallion has had limited rodeo experience and was raised by Neudorf’s mom, Jodie and now owned by Heidi Rooke. He’s been in training with Makayla Lundy who offered him to Neudorf for the Ponoka Stampede where her horse became injured.
Paige Jones and Famous Hayday (Pc Frenchmans Hayday x Jaxons Olympic Fame x Poco Lijerito) also earned $19,000 after winning the first round, the finals, the average and was second in the showdown round.
