The San Angelo Stock Show and Rodeo kicked off March 31 with the first go round slack. The rodeo features a unique format where both Women’s Professional Rodeo Association card and permit holders can enter. 240 barrel racers ran in slack held in the 1st Community Credit Union Spur Arena and the top 120 advance to the second round performances held in Foster Communications Coliseum starting April 4. The top 12 in the average advance to the finals performance on April 18.
