2025 Rodeo Austin Barrel Racing Updates

Rodeo Austin kicked off March 15 at the Travis County Expo Center. The rodeo will consist of a total of 88 barrel racers – 68 from pre-determined rankings including the top 17 from the 2025 Pro Rodeo World standings, top 18 contestants from the 2024 Pro Rodeo World standings, top 4 from the 2024 WPRA Tour, top 17 from the 2025 WPRA/PRCA Texas Circuit year-end barrel racing standings, top 12 from the 2024 WPRA/PRCA Texas Circuit year-end barrel racing standings and 20 from the qualifier held in Stephenville, Texas in February.

The top 24 after the first 11 performances qualify for the Playoff Rounds held at the March 26-28 performances. The top eight will advance to the finals on March 29, where The Rodeo Austin Champion will be based on the fastest time in the Finals.
