Four-time Womens Professional Rodeo Association World Champion Sherry Cervi and multiple aged event champion Chrome Plated Fame teamed up this summer and claimed the St. Paul Rodeo win over Cowboy Christmas for a $12,160.
Cervi added a rodeo win “Johnny’s” already more than $210,000 in EquiStat reported lifetime earnings. Owned by Highpoint Performance Horses, Johnny found success at multiple aged events with professional futurity trainer Ashley Schafer before the reins were handed to Cervi for rodeo seasoning.

Johnny is a full sister to standout stallion HP Hotrod, also campaigned by Schafer. Both horses are by Dash Ta Fame out of Rods Last Ladybug, who’s by Sharp Rodney.
Rods Last Ladybug, known as “Boomette” is a world champion herself and has progeny earnings of more than $1.1 million.
Cervi was No. 15 on the Cowboy Christmas earning leaderboard with just more than $13,000 won. In addition to the St. Paul win, Cervi picked up checks in Toppenish, Washington and Basin City, Washington.
