Held at the Buckeye Equestrian Center in Buckeye, Arizona, the Sherry Cervi Youth Championship race featured a Junior (12 and under) and Senior (13-18) age division complete with two go-rounds and an average. They also had an American Contender Tournament Qualifier and Open race on Friday. An additional opportunity for riders to earn money was the inaugural Mel Potter Memorial 5D Side Pot, created to honor the memory and legacy of Cervi’s dad, Mel Potter.
Jocelyn Fiske and Flits Robert E Lee topped the Senior Average while Lanai Garnhart and Fabs Famous Kat won the Junior Average. Each D champion in the average won a Martin Stingray saddle.
