The National Barrel Horse Association hosted its Pennsylvania State Finals September 8-10, 2023.

The Pennsylvania National Barrel Horse Association once again held its state finals at Diamond 7 Arena from September 8–10, 2023.
The finals started Friday night with 132 riders. Amy Albright and Merridocs Fling won the Open, while the 2D champion Alivia Menzie rode Vinny. Daphne Snook and Winston topped the 3D, and the 4D winner Crystal Ferris rode Diver Dan.
Saturday morning, the second go of the Open saw Amy Albright and Merridocs Fling again on top of the field. Winning the 2D, Genavieve Pearson piloted Paddy Sioux. Amanda Coleman and Ira won the 3D, followed by the 4D winner Bryanne Clark on Taka Chance On Kari.
The Youth class had 34 entries with Genavieve Pearson taking top honors on Land Shark. She also won the high-money youth buckle sponsored by Steve & Quinn W. Sutton Boriak and Ezon In The Money topped the 2D, and the 3D went to Joshua George on Bust The Move.
The Senior class had 24 entries with Amy Albright and Merridocs Fling getting the win. Terry Grow on Shot Of Lonewood topped the 2D, followed by Marie Longo on LT Little Snazzy in the 3D.
Sunday morning started with cowboy church, followed by the flag presentation by Josie Tracey and company, then a prayer and the National Anthem sung by PA04 member and competitor Sydney Fry.



The short go saw 72 fierce competitors, but Ava Kitner and Hobby Nic came out on top of them all. The 2D winner Ava Campano rode Fulla Bully Guy. Jennifer Silvis and Jose’s Lucky Sun topped the 3D, and winning the 4D was Stacy Feaser on RR Frenchmans Cisco. Division winners took home Corriente trophy saddles, Gist buckles, trophy breastcollar from Custom Tack, and cooler sheets and trophy halters from Red Eagle Creations. Kelsey Grow donated a beautiful custom halter for the fast time award, which went to Amy Albright.
