Professional barrel racers made their way across Utah at the end of July, cashing in big checks and changing the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association World Standings with just under two months left in the 2025 season.
Running the only sub-17 second run in Ogden, Utah, Wenda Johnson and Steal Money claimed nearly $14,000. This win helped move Johnson into the top 15.
Hailey Kinsel and DM Sissy Hayday topped the leaderboard in Spanish Fork, Utah with a 16.57, good enough to set a new arena record and $14,279. The arena record was previously held by Ivy Saebens and Cfour Tibbie Stinson who ran a 16.65 in 2016. Kinsel moves to No. 3 in the world standings.
Carlee Otero and her new mount Am Regina George earned more than $19,000 in Salt Lake City, Utah after an intense tournament style rodeo. As of August 1, Otero is No. 7 in the world standings with $118,045.
Tayla Moeykens won Heber City, Utah aboard Kn Fames Best Yet for a $7,511 check. As of August 1, Moeykens is No. 15 in the world standings.
Katie Halbert and Le Roi ran a 16.81 to win the Cache County Fair and Rodeo in Logan, Utah worth a $6,452 check. Halbert is ranked No. 20 in the world standings as of August 8 with $69,861 in 2025 pro rodeo earnings.
