Four-time Women’s Professional Rodeo Association World Champion Hailey Kinsel and her world champion barrel horse DM Sissy Hayday tied the longstanding WPRA record for most National Finals Rodeo round wins with 25 at the 2024 Wrangler NFR in Las Vegas, Nevada, after their Round Nine win. With the Round Nine win Kinsel yet again put her name beside some of the most legendary competitors in the industry.
This marked Kinsel’s 25th round win and tied with Charmayne James and Sherry Cervi. James earned her 25 NFR round wins aboard three different horses, Cervi aboard five different horses and Kinsel has won all 25 rounds aboard the incomparable “Sister.”
“That tells me this is Sis’ record, not mine,” Kinsel said. “I always have this thing in the back of my head that someday I want to win a round on another horse, but for now, I don’t want to win a round on anything but that horse. That’s kind of our thing. And I think it’s so cool we’re able to get that done for for her — for her to have that accolade.”
