October 2, 2019 — Walz Performance Horses has set the Ima Firefighter’s stallion fee at $2,500. Books are now open with an early booking rate of $1,500 for the first 10 clients and $2,000 for clients No. 11–25.

This outstanding individual fits the WPH motto—proven performers backed by powerful genetics. Sired by the one and only Fire Water Flit and out of the three-time Canadian Finals Rodeo-qualifying mare Ima Copper Bug Too, Ima Firefighter won open and rodeo money and proved his versatility by also being a money earner in the roping.

“You are in the presence of greatness when you are with Ima Firefighter. When you are with him you feel blessed,” said Sonya Walz, owner of WPH. “You can see into his heart and know that he truly is one of the most amazing individuals you will ever be around.”

Because of a career-ending injury, Ima Firefighter no longer demands attention at public events, but his offspring are taking his place in the winner’s circle. Average earnings per performer are $9,371. His top Equi-Stat earners are Vegas Firefighter ($113,859, American Quarter Horse Association World Champion, San Antonio Rodeo money earner), CreditTheFirefighter ($72,936, RFD-TV’s The American Semifinalist, Derby and Women’s Professional Rodeo Association winner) and Too Chains ($62,572, multiple futurity champion). He is also the sire of National High School Finals Rodeo and Junior High Finals qualifiers FL Get Your Game On and Firefighters Lineage.

His offspring are winning at all levels of barrel racing, along with pole bending and roping.
