The race for the Women’s Professional Rodeo Association’s world championship takes centerstage in the last few months as the top 15 head to the National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, Nevada, for the most exciting 10 days of rodeo. Here you can find all the information about the WPRA top 15 barrel racers.
The pinnacle of rodeo takes place every December under the lights of Las Vegas. It’s a dream for most barrel racers to run down the famed alley of the Thomas and Mack Center Arena alongside some of the best barrel horses and riders in the industry as a Wrangler National Finals Rodeo qualifier. Nearly half of the 15 qualified barrel racers will be running down that alley for their first time, while greats like Lisa Lockhart will write their names in the record books for tying the NFR qualification record with Sherry Cervi and Charmayne James.
